TenaWork connects workers with employers across Kenya. By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate, including your identity, skills, certifications, and work history.
Workers are responsible for keeping their digital profile up to date. Misrepresenting qualifications, certifications, or references may result in account suspension. The "Ping" location feature should only be used when reporting for a genuine job or assignment.
Employers agree to post genuine job opportunities and to treat workers found through TenaWork fairly, including honoring agreed pay and working conditions. Employers are responsible for verifying candidates meet any legal requirements for the role.
Where TenaWork facilitates payments through M-Pesa, all amounts are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise. TenaWork is a facilitator of the connection between parties and is not a party to the underlying employment agreement.
Ratings and reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fraudulent, defamatory, or abusive reviews may be removed and repeated abuse may lead to account suspension.
We may update these terms as TenaWork grows. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
