When you create a TenaWork account, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, contact details, location, skills, work history, certifications, and any documents or photos you upload to your profile. Employers who post jobs provide company details and hiring preferences.
We use your information to operate the TenaWork marketplace: matching workers to jobs, generating your verified digital profile and QR code, enabling employers to find talent, processing M-Pesa transactions where applicable, and improving our matching and recommendation systems.
Worker profiles marked as public are visible to employers on the platform, including via the QR-code verified profile. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Location shared through the "Ping" feature is only visible to the employer associated with the relevant job assignment.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage users to use strong passwords and keep account credentials confidential.
You can review, update, or delete most of your profile information directly from your account settings. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data or ask that your account be closed.
